Hi, I am Danial.
I am actively seeking job opportunities in optimization and machine learning.
My current focus is on Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models to automate complex tasks.
I am writing a book titled "Creative AI for discovery automation", which discusses fundamental optimization and machine learning methods, and how their combinations are used to discover creative solutions in complex applications (Book's website).
Over the past two years, I’ve been learning about business affairs in startups.
I obtained a PhD in Operations Research for Healthcare with several honors from the Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. During my PhD, I spent six months as a visiting PhD at the KU Leuven in Belgium. I pursued Postdoctoral studies at the University of Ottawa in Sequential Decision-making with Uncertain Parameters and at the University of Toronto in Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning.
I've published 6 papers in leading journals such as Transportation Science and Computers and Operations Research. Moreover, I've instructed 13 courses to undergraduate and graduate students, covering 10 distinct subjects in Operations Research, Machine Learning, Data Analysis, and Entrepreneurship.
I love sports activities. I run almost every day, and when I'm free, I enjoy swimming and playing tennis, badminton, and volleyball.
